Found in Coastal Queensland and as far south as Bega in NSW. They are relatively common in most locations, being able to adapt to a wide variety of nest trees. These little bees are very active during all seasons and are excellent for crop pollination

Found in the Northern Territory and Queensland and survive quite well above the NSW border on the coastal strip of Queensland. Really a tropical climate bee. These are the most powerful of all. They are very difficult to keep in the cooler regions.
